Upgrading the marketing of an existing fintech brand

When I first joined the team at the emerging fintech app Qapital, the company was in a place many startups find themselves: lost amongst the competition due to unremarkable design and strategy. To solve this problem, I worked with marketing, copywriting, and the executive branch to develop a new strategy, messaging, and look for Qapital’s marketing assets — including social media posts, emails, and the website — resulting in a significant increase in the company’s social media presence, marketing effectiveness, and overall visual cohesion.

Qapital’s logomark has a large surface area, which allows for a wide variety of interesting graphic applications.

I introduced several new ways to use the Qapital logomark to the company — such as using the Q shape as a frame for photos and illustrations — which would later be applied to the company’s various marketing assets.
